Volunteer For The Foundation
The Foundation needs your time & talent to support the Sacred Work of Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. By volunteering, you will continue a long and proud legacy of service. The hospital’s founder L.E. Stagg Sr. was a Beaumont businessman, Baptist leader and volunteer, who in 1949 led the effort to build a “City of Healing” as a response to the serious hospital bed shortage in the Southeast Texas area. Mr. Stagg, Sr. saw a need and led the way enlisting more volunteer support from the community as he went.
Today, we still rely upon volunteer philanthropy to lead the way. Volunteers are vital to our success! Annually, volunteers come together to support our fundraisers including La Soirée. This event’s success is directly in proportion to the number of amazing talented volunteers who come together each year in support of our patients. There are so many ways to volunteer: including hands on help for events; beautification projects; supply drives; fundraisers at businesses; and even volunteer social media fundraising efforts. If you are interested in helping with our events or with a project please let us know! We love to work both with individuals and groups from work, school, civic organizations, clubs and churches on special philanthropic projects to support our patient’s healing journey.
